Creator Initiator and Founder of Mundum Nostrum project and Mundum Nostrum Foundation. “My education, my career, my entire life have taught me that one should do whatever they possibly can for helping their community, their country, the world. However, while I still strongly believe in my community and my country, our shrinking world has made me more aware of the urge relating to the gap between developed and developing countries, and to the fragility of our environment. The problems are global, so are the solutions. Customers do not only insist on product quality and price, but also demand business citizenship. In today’s tough international market, businesses ultimately compete in terms of corporate reputation and image. Companies gain and maintain this competitive advantage by displaying corporate social responsibility, particularly through their corporate philanthropy. I have come to realise that, rather than there being antagonisms between developed and developing countries, there actually could be synergies between them, and that the former could help the latter with their problems and still improve their profitability. A win-win situation, so as to speak. It was all about “Our World”. I had to do something. I wanted the nascent project to be perceived as universal, for the sake of our world.
